Our Family

Mike was born and raised in the Seattle area and then moved to Olympia at 17.  He was saved at 11, baptized in 1986, married Jan. 21, 1989, surrendered to preach in 1996, called to Romania 1998, moved to the field March 25, 1999, expanded to Moldova 2008, and returned to Brasov 2016.

Since 1999 Mike has been planting churches in Romania and Moldova. They have built a church camp, started a bible institute, hosted numerous short-term mission teams and medical mission outreaches, and have hosted English camps and VBS programs as well.

Juli was born in California and moved to Washington when she was 12. She was saved and baptized in 1988 at Sunbreak Missionary Baptist Church where she met Mike. They married in 1989 and have four sons, Ryan, Michael, Joshua, and Samuel. She was a dispensing optician and later ran her own daycare after she had her four boys. She and her family moved to Romania in 1999 as missionaries. She has been blessed with the opportunity to raise and home school their boys in Romania and is currently involved in leading a ladies' Bible study and teaching Sunday school class. She also enjoys teaching fitness.

Their four sons grew up on the field, and now are married and living in the USA. Ryan is a pastor and he and Abie have 3 children. Michael is an engineer and is married to Marianne. Joshua is a logistic coordinator and is married to Alexandra. Samuel is in school, working, and married to Ashlyn with one son.
